An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support to students in a dynamic charter school setting, serving grades 7–12. This contract role is based near White Rock, NM, and requires on-site services at a school in Santa Fe from now until late May. Enjoy dependable hours with a flexible therapy schedule between 9am and 3pm on school days, while supporting students in achieving greater independence and participating fully in their educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid OT license in New Mexico
• Current NMPED (New Mexico Public Education Department) credentials
• Experience in school-based OT, home health, and healthcare settings is highly valued
• Open to OTs or COTAs (with remote OT supervision)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
• Ability to adapt services to students’ IEP needs for grades 7–12
• Commitment to providing direct therapy with plans for relevant indirect service hours

Position Highlights:

• Deliver approximately 6 hours of direct therapy weekly (potential to increase), with additional time for indirect services as needed
• Schedule is flexible—work with the school to determine which days between 9am–3pm suit you best
• Engage in hands-on interventions and collaborate with educators to optimize student outcomes
