Job Full Description Express Employment is now seeking a Punch Press/Spot Weld Operator for a manufacturing company in the Lexington area. This position will be responsible for setting up and operating punch press/spot weld machines to fabricate sub-assemblies or final assembly. Starting pay is $16+/hour hourly based on experience. Duties include:
- Set up machines with dies
- Read and understand work orders
- Manually load parts into the press machine
- Measure and examine a sample of the machine product before production run
- Operate spot welding machines Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience setting up punch press machine and spot welding
- Die set up experience
- Ability to read and document daily activities
- Ability to lift 15 pounds consistently
- Ability to maintain clean machinery and working area
- Self-Starter
