Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts available: 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 18:30) or 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a strong background in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience and will be required to start on November 2, 2026. This role involves performing various cardiac procedures and providing comprehensive care in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Catheterizations.
• Monitor and manage patient sedation and vital signs during procedures.
• Perform sheath removal and ensure proper post-procedure care.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias.
• Participate in call rotation, including weekday and weekend duties, with a response time of less than 30 minutes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience.
• Valid NY State Nursing License.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
• Familiarity with telemetry assessment and rhythm interpretation.
