Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Step-Down Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Auburn, NY. This role demands a highly skilled nurse with a specialization in step-down care, offering a dynamic work environment with challenging yet rewarding patient cases.

Key Responsibilities of the Step-Down RN

• Post-heart cath care and TR band management
• Monitoring post-vascular procedures
• Frequent vital signs and neurovascular checks
• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• IV start and maintenance, including PICC line management
• Blood product administration and emergency medication management
• BiPAP/CPAP management and assist with chest tube procedures

Requirements of the Step-Down RN

• Active RN license with 2+ years of recent step-down experience
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience with infection prevention and isolation precautions
• Skilled in phlebotomy and procedural sedation administration
