IT Senior Project ManagerThe IT Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering medium to large-scale enterprise IT initiatives. This role partners closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with audit, SOX, and operational controls. The position operates under the general direction of the Director of Applications and owns delivery across assigned application areas.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage medium to large-scale, enterprise-wide IT projects from initiation through closureMobilize cross-functional resources and coordinate activities across multiple IT and business teamsDefine project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, and success criteriaDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and release calendarsEstablish project governance, controls, release guidelines, and inventory managementTrack project performance against scope, schedule, cost, and quality metricsPublish regular project status reports, dashboards, and KPI metricsFacilitate periodic project reviews and executive-level status meetingsEnsure compliance with audit requirements, SOX controls, and internal operational standardsIdentify, assess, and manage project risks and dependenciesDevelop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategiesMaintain issue and risk logs and proactively drive resolutionSupport escalation management and issue resolution across teamsAct as a liaison between business stakeholders, application teams, and technical functionsFoster strong working relationships and clear communication across all project participantsAssist with the selection and adoption of project methodologies and documentation standardsSupport teams operating under Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologiesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field5+ years of experience in Information Technology and/or Project Management environmentsStrong hands-on experience managing multiple concurrent IT projectsSolid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)Proficiency with project management tools and reporting techniquesExcellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionWillingness to travel up to 20% (car or air) to support business unitsKey CompetenciesEnterprise project delivery leadershipStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsRisk-based decision makingExecutive-level communication and reportingCross-functional collaboration and influenceThis job description outlines the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
