Strategic Project Lead with J.D. for AI Legal Model Training [Remote]

Lead high-impact, domain-focused programs that train and evaluate frontier AI models by managing expert-driven workflows, ensuring data integrity and scalability, and serving as the primary point of contact for top AI Lab customers. This role combines legal subject-matter expertise with hands-on operational leadership to design, execute, and optimize large-scale human-in-the-loop data pipelines.

• Own projects end to end, delivering exceptional outcomes and maintaining strong relationships with top AI Lab clients.
• Be the primary point of contact for premier AI Lab customers on massive, high-impact engagements.
• Design, oversee, and improve complex, domain-specific data pipelines to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Manage teams of Human Data Managers and Leads who review the output of subject-matter experts in the Legal domain.
• Collaborate with Human Data Engineers to define, track, and optimize KPIs across expert-driven workflows.
• Provide executive-level insights, status updates, and operational impact reports to senior leadership.
• Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and the Head of Human Data.

• Juris Doctor, JD, degree required.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role, driving operational processes, managing large-scale or domain-heavy data projects, or optimizing complex workflows.
• Demonstrated expertise in Leadership and Team Management, Data Operations, and working with Human Data.
• Background in data operations, engineering, computer science, or deep prior exposure in the Legal domain.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and stakeholder management, especially when engaging senior legal experts.
• Strong startup and entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for building systems, identifying inefficiencies, and executing rapid solutions.
• Ability and willingness to work long hours when needed, including weekends, in a fast-moving startup environment.

• Listed total compensation range for this role, 400, 000 to 550, 000 USD per year.
• Company also provides a national base salary pay range for this position, 180, 000 to 230, 000 USD per year.
