Strategic Project Lead, PCB & Embedded Design [Remote]

Lead end-to-end, engineering-focused data projects that train frontier AI models. You will act as the primary point of contact for top AI Lab customers and manage teams of electrical and electronics experts to produce high-quality training data across PCB design, power electronics, embedded systems, and industrial electronics. The role combines hands-on domain expertise, analytical rigor, and client-facing project leadership to design, scale, and maintain large engineering data pipelines with high standards for technical accuracy and data integrity. • Own projects from scoping through delivery, ensuring top AI Lab clients are highly satisfied.
• Design, operate, and improve complex, domain-specific data pipelines focused on Electrical and Electronics workflows, prioritizing efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Manage teams of Human Data Managers and Leads who review and curate work from subject-matter experts in PCB design, power electronics, embedded systems, and related domains.
• Serve as the trusted technical and strategic partner to top AI Labs, communicating directly on massive, high-impact projects.
• Collaborate with Human Data Engineers to define, track, and optimize KPIs across expert-driven workflows and operational processes.
• Provide executive-level updates and insights on project status, data performance, and operational impact.
• Ensure the highest standards for technical accuracy, data integrity, and quality control across engineering datasets and validation processes.

• Strong hands-on background in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, with practical experience in PCB design, schematic capture, PCB layout, simulation, component selection, and board validation and testing.
• Domain experience especially relevant to converters, battery systems, embedded electronics, or industrial electronics.
• Familiarity with PCB design and simulation tools such as KiCad, SpiceBridge, PCBParts, or comparable software.
• 2+ years in a leadership or project ownership role, managing technical teams, driving operational processes, or optimizing complex workflows.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and soft skills, able to work with senior technical experts and client leadership.
• Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences in a client-facing context.
• Willingness to work long hours, including weekends when required, in a fast-moving startup environment.
