Strategic Project Lead with J.D. for AI Model Training

Lead high-impact, large-scale human data projects that train frontier AI models by serving as the primary point of contact for top AI Lab customers and managing teams of domain experts focused on legal subject matter. This role combines legal expertise with operations leadership to design, scale, and maintain high-integrity data pipelines and expert-driven workflows.

• Own projects end to end, ensuring top AI Lab clients receive high-quality delivery and are highly satisfied.
• Act as the main point of contact for top AI Lab customers on massive, high-impact engagements.
• Design, execute, and continuously improve domain-specific data pipelines to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Manage teams of Human Data Managers and Human Data Leads who review the work of legal subject-matter experts.
• Work closely with Human Data Engineers to define, track, and optimize KPIs across expert-driven workflows.
• Provide executive-level insights, status updates, and data performance reporting to senior leadership.
• Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and the Head of Human Data.

• Juris Doctor, JD, degree required.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role driving operational processes, managing large-scale or domain-heavy data projects, or optimizing complex workflows.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior legal experts.
• Background in data operations, data engineering, computer science, or deep domain experience in the legal field.
• Experience with human-in-the-loop data programs, human data management, or related workflows.
• Startup and entrepreneurial mindset, ability to identify inefficiencies and implement rapid solutions.
• Willingness to work long hours, including weekends, when project demands require it.

• Core team compensation target stated as 400000 to 550000 USD per year.
• Company notice of national pay range for this full-time position, base salary 180000 to 230000 USD per year.
• All employees are eligible for equity compensation.
• Employees may also receive performance-based bonuses, subject to role and company policies.
