About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Psych RN in Janesville, Wisconsin, 53545!

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards, hospital policy, and Wisconsin state regulations.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and thoroughly per standards of care.
• Develop and execute personalized care plans based on patient needs, physician orders, and behavioral health protocols.
• Provide patient and family education to support understanding of diagnoses, treatments, and care plans.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and unit‑based initiatives, including shared governance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care and ensure patient safety.
• Provide clinical support and guidance to other units/departments as needed.
• Appropriately escalate patient concerns or safety issues through the chain of command.

Schedule

• 12‑hour night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every-other weekend required

• Active Wisconsin RN License (must be current)
• BLS/BCLS (CPR) Certification
• Minimum Experience: Less than 1 year accepted
• Specialty: Psychiatric Adult / Behavioral Health
• Ability to work 12‑hour night shifts (7p–7:30a)
• Weekend & holiday coverage required
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR (facility uses EPIC)
