Telemetry Registered Nurse – Baton Rouge, LA | Night Shifts

  • Licenses/Certs: BLS Required; NIH preferred; ACLS is a plus
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year telemetry/med-surg experience, cardiac drips, EKG, Epic
Pay & Benefits:
  • Pay Rate: $53.60 per hour

What You'll Do:
  • Deliver expert care to telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes promptly
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Administer cardiac drips and other medications per protocol
  • Document patient information accurately using electronic health record systems (Epic)
  • Ensure safety and comfort of patients during night shifts
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
What You Need:

Required:

  • Valid RN license for Louisiana or applicable state
  • BLS certification
  • At least 1 year telemetry or med-surg experience
  • Proficiency in EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring

    • Preferred:

  • NIH certification
  • ACLS certification
  • Experience with Epic EMR system
About the Assignment:

This assignment is with a leading hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The unit is a telemetry floor that provides critical cardiac care. You will be responsible for managing acute patient needs, ensuring continuous cardiac monitoring, and supporting patient recovery during night shifts. Flexibility for holiday work and emergency staffing may be required.
