As a key member of our leadership team, you’ll collaborate closely with store management to deliver exceptional customer service, achieve operational excellence and drive impressive sales growth. Roles within this division cover these areas: Dubuque Click here [ to view our divisional map Position Type: Full-Time Starting Salary: $95,000 Signing Bonus: $5,000 Salary Increases: Year 2 $110,000 | Year 3 - $120,000 | Year 4 - $130,000 Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. • Consistently demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role. • Assesses, establishes, and implements appropriate store staffing levels with input from direct reports. • Works with direct reports to develop and implement action plans that will improve operating results.
- Ensures adherence to company merchandising plans.
- Plans and conducts regularly scheduled meetings with direct reports.
- Assures the training, development, and performance of their team’s staff to
- Recruits and recommends qualified employees for their team’s staff positions.
- Approves all time-off requests for direct reports.
- Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations
- Supports direct reports in conducting store meetings.
- Consults with leadership on the development of their team's strategy.
- Advises leadership to source external vendors for applicable services when
- Liaises with regions to ensure timely and efficient communication flow.
- Consults with the business to effectively design and streamline applicable
- Conducts store inventory counts and cash audits according to guidelines.
- Manages their team by driving projects and tasks to completion through
- Identifies cost-saving opportunities and potential process improvements.
- Serves as the primary link between their team’s staff and leadership to assure
- Works cooperatively and collaboratively within a group.
- Ability to facilitate group involvement when conducting meetings.
