Director of Information Technology

Join a rapidly growing, private equity-backed multi-site retail organization as its next IT Director. This is an exciting opportunity to lead technology for a highly successful company with approximately 80 locations today and plans to more than double its footprint through acquisitions over the coming years. This role is ideal for a hands-on IT leader who enjoys partnering with field operations, building strong relationships across an organization, and developing scalable technology solutions that support continued growth. What You'll Do Lead IT operations across a growing network of retail locations. Oversee infrastructure, networking, hardware, and operational technology to ensure reliable day-to-day operations. Manage and develop a small internal IT team while helping scale the function as the company continues to grow. Partner closely with executive leadership and field operations to identify technology solutions that improve efficiency and support business objectives. Lead technology integration efforts for newly acquired locations. Travel to field locations to build relationships, provide support, and ensure technology is meeting operational needs. Develop scalable IT processes and best practices to support a rapidly expanding organization. What We're Looking For Previous IT leadership experience supporting multi-site retail, franchise, restaurant, hospitality, automotive service, convenience store, or other distributed brick-and-mortar operations. Strong background in IT infrastructure, networking, systems administration, and end-user support. Experience leading technology initiatives across multiple locations. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to spend time in the field supporting operations.
