Qualifications & Experience: Valid and current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in California Previous experience working in a school setting is highly preferred Solid understanding of behavioral, psychological, and educational assessment tools Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities Ability to adapt and provide support in a dynamic and diverse school environment Commitment to ethical standards and ongoing professional development Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized assessment tools and techniques Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions Provide consultation and guidance to teachers, staff, and parents to support student success Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommendations Deliver counseling services and crisis intervention as needed Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school policies and state requirements Assist in developing programs and strategies to improve students' well-being and school climate As a valued contributor in this backfill position, you will ensure vital psychological services continue without interruption and help students achieve their goals.
