Warehouse Manager- Direct Hire

Location : Near 103rd & Harlem


Schedule : Monday- Friday some Saturdays


Pay : $70,000/year

JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY
The Warehouse Manager position is responsible for supervising the warehousing and shipping
of incoming and outgoing materials. The position involves working in a cold/frozen storage
warehouse environment, supervising personnel receiving product, pulling orders, unloading
trucks for inbound deliveries, and processing paperwork related to product delivery.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Function as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and
perform any duty assignment to best serve the company
• Supervise the associate staff, including scheduling, providing training and guidance,
establishing job standards, and evaluating performance
• Ensure timely, accurate, and complete replenishment of inventory for all daily customer
orders for the shift
• Ensure all product received during the shift is stocked properly and that first-in/first-out
warehouse procedures are followed for all stock rotation
• Demonstrate a strong service quality ethic through personal example
• Ensure that all associates have a thorough understanding of their individual roles in
meetings or exceeding internal and external customer expectations
• Coordinates receiving planning
• Utilize the Company's warehouse management system and other technologies available
to maximize productivity
• Analyze productivity levels of warehouse operations and recommend appropriate
changes when necessary
• Ensure safe operation of all material handling
• Oversee daily activities of a warehouse crew to ensure proper handling and storage of
incoming product while promoting a safe, productive, and positive work environment
• Performs other related duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a cold warehouse environment and may be exposed to outdoor work in
hot, cold, or inclement weather.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an
employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The
employee frequently is required to stand; walk, lift, bend, sit, use hands to finger, handle or
feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
Full-Time, Monday- Friday plus some off hours and weekends depending on business needs.

TRAVEL
Some travel required.


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-3 years management experience
• 1-3 years working in a warehouse environment operation (food service preferred)
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Suite
• Pass background screens
