Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, prescribing necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, collaborating with physicians as needed, or independently depending on your credentials
• Providing education to patients and their families about prevention, wellness strategies, and disease management
• Administering medications and therapies in accordance with your professional scope
• Engaging in follow-up care and management of chronic conditions
• Working closely within interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications and Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Licensure and Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Utah
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days)
