They’re replacing that legacy stack with modern payments, banking, and financial automation — and it’s working. The company grew 16x last year, with 30–40% of top-of-funnel already coming from AI channels, and is backed by $16M from operators who built their careers at Stripe, Cash App, and Toast.This is a 17-person team defining a brand-new category, and they’re hiring their first dedicated Product Marketing Manager — a founding seat reporting directly to the CEO, with real ownership over how the company tells its story and drives growth from day one.What You’ll DoLaunch new products and own go-to-market execution in a PLG-driven motionBuild and optimize website conversion, registration flows, and A/B testing programsWrite copy, build landing pages, and ship marketing deliverables independently — no handoffs, no waiting on a bigger teamPartner directly with the CEO and founding team to shape brand, positioning, and growth strategy in a category that doesn’t have an existing playbookContribute broadly to growth initiatives alongside a lean, high-output team where everyone — including engineering — pitches in on growthWhat They’re Looking For4–8 years of experience in product marketing, growth, or a generalist growth/product roleProduct marketing experience at a high-growth startup (seed to Series B)Direct experience with PLG motions — conversion optimization, registration flows, A/B testingFounder experience, or having been employee #1–10 at a startup, is highly valuedFintech, payments, or industrial tech experience is a strong plusBachelor’s degree from a top-30 universityA true hands-on “doer” — someone who builds landing pages, writes copy, and ships independently, not someone oriented toward strategy decks or managementComfortable with an intense, high-ownership environment and in-person work 5 days a weekNot the right fit if: your background is exclusively big-company/enterprise marketing with no startup exposure, or your experience is primarily agency, consulting, or freelance/contract PMM work.Why This Role Stands OutA true founding seat — report directly to the CEO and shape how a brand-new financial category gets defined and marketedProven momentum, not a bet — 16x growth last year, with AI channels already driving a third or more of top-of-funnelBacked by serious operator pedigree — funded by execs from Stripe, Cash App, and ToastReal ownership from day one — minimal existing structure to work around, with the opportunity to build and lead a team as the function maturesInterview ProcessThree rounds: an initial screen, a portfolio review (including a deep dive on one of your past deliverables), and a case study with final team interviews.Compensation & Logistics$130K–$175K base + 0.1–0.3% equityOn-site, Dumbo, Brooklyn, 5 days/weekVisa sponsorship possible for exceptional candidates; open to relocationReady to help define a new category?
