Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at FlexLife Therapy Services, your daily responsibilities will encompass a variety of critical tasks, including:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and understand their symptoms, ensuring a complete understanding of their rehabilitation needs.
• Utilizing your expertise to diagnose movement dysfunctions and create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals and progress.
• Instructing patients on how to safely perform therapeutic exercise techniques that will aid in their recovery, focusing on bridging the gap between therapy sessions and home exercises.
• Applying therapeutic modalities, such as stimulation or massage, to promote healing and alleviate discomfort.
• Guiding patients in the proper use of medical equipment, including wheelchairs and walkers, to ensure they are safe and comfortable during mobility.
• Meticulously maintaining and documenting patient records, tracking their goals and progress to ensure transparency in treatment.
• Providing valuable advice to patients and their families about at-home treatment options and exercises to continue their recovery process effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of patients, from children to the elderly, each presenting unique challenges and experiences. Our facility serves individuals with various diagnoses ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management, giving you the opportunity to apply your skills across a spectrum of conditions and make significant impacts on their recovery journey.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Possession of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid physical therapy license in the state of California.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively articulate treatment plans and maintain patient rapport.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, for efficient patient documentation.
• A flexible and agile approach, ready to adapt treatment plans based on patient responses and changing needs.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following attributes are highly desirable:

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably within a rehabilitation environment.
• Experience with a variety of treatment modalities and techniques.
• Previous involvement in mentorship or leadership roles, particularly assisting new graduates.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, complemented by a generous benefits package, which includes:
