Key Responsibilities

• Directly oversee physical therapy treatment plans that aim to prevent disabilities, relieve pain, and restore muscle function in accordance with individual care guidelines.
• Conduct evaluations of client functionality using a battery of diagnostic tests to assess muscle, joint, and nerve performance characteristics.
• Manage and guide physical therapy assistants in the application of treatment strategies while ensuring adherence to plan of care.
• Evaluate and recommend adaptations for the home environment to enhance client independence and support rehabilitation goals.
• Document all evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries with precise and timely reporting to maintain accurate clinical records.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and revise comprehensive care plans, ensuring alignment with patient goals.
• Educate clients and their families on exercises, therapeutic devices, and comprehensive treatment programs to foster at-home compliance.
• Provide manual therapeutic exercises, administer physical treatments, and oversee the fitting of prosthetic and orthotic devices for optimal patient support.
• Stay accessible to Physical Therapy Assistants during client treatments to provide support and mentorship in service delivery.
• Complete regular assessments and necessary documentation to maintain compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of California.

• A valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance for necessary travel to client locations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that promote client engagement and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
• A penchant for proactive decision-making and problem-solving, particularly in challenging clinical scenarios.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in acute care or home healthcare settings.
• Experience supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and collaborating in interdisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with community resources available for rehabilitation and support.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
