This per diem OB Hospitalist opportunity in Palm Springs, California, is ideal for a board-certified OB/GYN seeking flexible hospital-based coverage in a collaborative environment. The position involves providing comprehensive obstetric care, including delivery attendance, triage, patient management, and emergency coverage, with support from maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology specialists. The facility features a 30-bed Level III NICU and manages approximately 30 deliveries per month. Dates / Schedule

Per diem coverage 24-hour in-house shifts Job Details / Responsibilities

Provide OB Hospitalist coverage Attend deliveries and provide newborn delivery support Manage OB triage patients Perform patient evaluations and ongoing management Assist with obstetric surgical procedures Conduct fetal monitoring and interpretation Provide emergency room obstetric coverage Collaborate with affiliated maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology teams Work within a community hospital featuring a Level III NICU Required Skills & Qualifications

Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Required Active California medical license Required Minimum of 1 year post-residency clinical experience Required Completed Prescreen Questionnaire Required Current Self-Query NPDB report (within 30 days of submission) Required Updated CV in MM/YYYY format with all employment gaps explained Required Home address, phone number, and email included on the first page of the CV Required Additional Notes
