This role is ideal for a candidate with 1-3 years of accounts payable experience who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely mannerProcess customer credits and ensure proper documentationClear and reconcile the Accounts Payable Trial BalanceReview and process freight invoicesAnalyze invoices and expense reports to charge expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centersRecord accounting entries in accordance with company proceduresMonitor payment schedules and identify available discount opportunitiesVerify vendor information, including federal tax detailsRequired Qualifications:1-3 years of accounts payable processing experienceProficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detailExcellent organizational skillsAbility to manage a high volume of transactions accuratelyPreferred Qualifications:Experience with expense report analysis and vendor invoice reconciliationFamiliarity with freight invoice processingStrong adaptability in fast-paced work environmentsAbout the Role:This is a full-time, onsite contract position supporting the accounting/finance department of a well-established organization in the food distribution industry.
