Software Development – EDB (Data Engineering) Team Employment Type: Full-Time Work Arrangement: Hybrid About the Role Our EDB (data engineering) team is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to sit at the intersection of data engineering and the broader organization. This person will translate technical work into business-ready outcomes — handling documentation, change management, and light project management so that data engineering initiatives move through delivery without getting stuck. Key Responsibilities Act as the connective link between the EDB data engineering team and cross-functional business teams, translating technical work into terms other stakeholders can act on. Own and drive change management activities that support the rollout of data engineering tools and processes, including the team’s data quality tool. Apply hybrid project methodologies to plan, sequence, and track work, providing light project management across initiatives. Create, organize, and maintain project and process documentation in Word to keep teams aligned and initiatives audit-ready. Log, track, and manage tickets and workflows in ServiceNow and Jira. Support data quality processes and coordinate quality-related activities within Veeva Quality. Identify bottlenecks in the delivery process and proactively resolve the administrative and coordination “get stuff done” work that slows down project and value delivery. Communicate status, risks, and dependencies clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience Demonstrated experience with change management practices. Experience working within hybrid project methodologies (blending Agile and traditional/Waterfall approaches). Comfortable working directly with data engineers and translating technical work for non-technical teams. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow. Experience with Veeva Quality or a comparable quality management system. Strong documentation skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word. Hands-on experience with Jira for tracking work and workflows. Light project management experience — planning, sequencing, and tracking cross-team deliverables. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust across engineering and business teams. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience supporting a data engineering or data quality function. Familiarity with data quality tooling and processes. Background in a business analyst, technical program coordinator, or business integrator role. Work Arrangement This is a full-time, hybrid position combining in-office and remote work. #J-18808-Ljbffr
