TIG Welder - 1st Shift

WelderThis role focuses on TIG welding thin-gauge stainless steel for dairy, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage applications. You will work primarily on stainless steel components, interpret blueprints, and support fabrication activities as needed while maintaining a clean and safe work area. The position offers exposure to a variety of products and processes, providing a well-rounded welding and fabrication experience.ResponsibilitiesPerform TIG welding on thin-gauge stainless steel, typically around 16 gauge, to produce high-quality welds that meet dairy, pharmaceutical, and food-grade standards.Work directly from blueprints, reading and interpreting welding symbols and process specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.Use fabrication equipment and tools as needed, including grinding, polishing, and operating brake presses when departments require additional support.Grind and polish small welds using hand and power tools to achieve smooth, clean finishes suitable for food and beverage applications.Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments according to established procedures and specifications.Assist in the fabrication and welding of food and beverage products such as cabinet washers, tanks, pressure systems, and tunnel washers as assigned.Set up welding equipment and accessories independently, ensuring proper parameters and configurations for each job.Clean and maintain the work area regularly, following safety and housekeeping standards to support a safe and organized shop.Collaborate with team members across multiple departments, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to assist where needed.Why Work Here?You will work in a modern facility that invests in high-quality equipment and provides a clean, comfortable environment. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
