Traffic Engineer

E.P. Ferris and Associates is seeking a Traffic Engineer local to Columbus, OH. Qualified traffic engineer needed to join our dynamic team of professionals, working closely with professional engineers on both public and private projects, including roadway, single family, multi-family, mixed use, hospitality & corporate campus developments. This position will also have the opportunity to assist our public clients with safety studies, warrants, pedestrian improvements and intersection operation reviews. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Traffic Engineering Professional Engineer registration in Ohio, or ability to obtain 5-10 years of professional experience in traffic engineering study standards and practices, and familiarity with traffic control and traffic signal design plans Ability to perform and oversee preparation the preparation of traffic studies, analysis, and proficiency with Highway Capacity Software and Synchro/Sim Traffic Excellent written and verbal communication skills Willingness to learn new skills and work collaboratively in a team environment ODOT prequalification preferred for Interchange Modification Studies and Safety Studies #J-18808-Ljbffr
