Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. This position offers a 26-week contract with start date on 11/16, requiring comprehensive ICU experience and cardiovascular expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Administer advanced cardiac and ventilator care to adult and geriatric patients.
- Interpret dysrhythmias and manage arterial lines, PICC lines, and central lines.
- Implement IV insulin protocols and blood product administration.
- Monitor and interpret ABGs, suction patients, and care for ventilated individuals.
- Adhere to all required certifications and safety protocols to ensure quality care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active California RN license at the time of submission.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years ICU experience with cardiovascular, open heart, and balloon pump procedures.
- Provide proof of required certifications (ACLS, BLS, NIH VIP, MAB, or CPI) in person.
- Be capable of interpreting EKGs and passing an advanced EKG exam with at least 80%.
- Demonstrate experience with invasive lines, blood products, and ventilated patient management.
- Have no license restrictions, disciplinary actions, or background issues.
