Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,272 per week

Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Boone, North Carolina.

Job Description & Requirements

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Schedule:
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 3x12-Hour Shifts
• 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide critical care to ICU patients with complex medical conditions
• Manage ventilated patients and advanced airway support
• Monitor and titrate vasoactive drips and continuous IV sedation
• Interpret ABGs and cardiac dysrhythmias
• Manage central lines, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and isolation precautions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with ventilators and critical care drips
• Comfortable caring for occasional pediatric patients
• Must be willing to float to IMCU and Med-Surg units as needed

Required Certifications & Licensure:
• Active North Carolina RN License or Multistate License
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS
• PALS (AHA)

Additional Details:
• Local candidates within 40 miles are not accepted
• Driver's License required for address verification
• Qualivis Cover Sheet and current Nursys Report required with submission
• All RTO must be listed on the cover sheet at submission
• COVID-19 Vaccine Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
• Travelers must float within the hospital as needed
• Return staff must be away from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
