Schedule & Requirements

• Shift: Night Shift, 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week
• Local Radius Rule: Must live more than 40 miles from facility
• License Requirement: Active North Carolina RN License or Compact License required at submission

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Experience with:
  • Ventilator Management
  • Airway Management
  • Arterial Line Management
  • Central Line Management
  • Critical Care Drips
  • Multi-System Organ Failure
  • Dysrhythmia Interpretation
  • Critical Care Monitoring
• Epic EMR experience required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care nursing for ICU patients.
• Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill patients requiring advanced interventions.
• Manage ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and HFNC therapies.
• Administer and titrate vasoactive medications and sedation drips.
• Monitor arterial lines, central lines, and invasive hemodynamic parameters.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms, laboratory values, and arterial blood gases.
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Float to IMCU and Med-Surg units when required by patient volume.
• Document all patient care accurately in Epic EMR.
