Hearing Screen Technician

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then we have a unique opportunity for you. Responsibilities Screen newborns for hearing loss at on‑site hospital locations. Perform mandated hearing screening tests for newborn infants. Provide education to parents about hearing screening and early intervention. Record patient information and hearing screen results. Conduct tests prior to patient discharge, supporting patient care goals. Enter patient data and validate hearing screens as needed. Help confirm or reschedule outpatient appointments. Follow up on equipment issues and train new staff. Verify insurance information with parent/guardian. Document hearing screen results accurately. Submit billing in a timely manner following protocol. Follow protocol for security and identification of infants. Follow infection control, safety awareness, and hospital policies. Recognize potential problems and seek assistance in a timely manner. Complete company and hospital orientation, including patient privacy training. Maintain employee health requirements. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience working with infants preferred. Experience in a hospital setting preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Computer proficiency and ability to perform accurate data entry. Ability to prioritize daily tasks and assignments. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays. Ability to stand and walk frequently (95% of shift). Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds frequently. High School Diploma or GED required.
