New York, NY | Hybrid, minimum three days in office Join a specialist recruitment firm working with some of the most exciting Series A and Series B venture-backed technology businesses in the U.S. You will recruit across high-value Engineering or Go-To-Market markets, supported by strong venture capital relationships that generate senior, retained, and exclusive mandates. With a small New York team billing at an impressive level, this is an opportunity to learn directly from proven leaders, build genuine client relationships, and develop toward $50k–$70k billing months without a KPI-heavy or volume-driven culture. The Recruitment Consultant will deliver high-quality permanent searches across Engineering or Go-To-Market markets, with the opportunity to develop into a complete client-facing consultant. Role Highlights Deliver permanent searches across Software Engineering, AI Engineering, technical leadership, Sales, and Go-To-Market leadership Partner with Series A and Series B companies, AI businesses, and high-growth venture-backed technology firms Build trusted relationships through a consultative approach, including regular face-to-face client meetings and travel when valuable Develop from delivery into a full 360 role, or grow an established client portfolio with coaching from proven recruitment leaders You Will Need 1 to 3 years of agency recruitment experience for delivery-focused opportunities, or proven 360 recruitment experience Evidence of strong personal billings Strong delivery on assignments if you are 180/delivery/recruiting only For 360 consultants, a clear record of winning clients, making placements, and ideally generating repeat business A polished, professional communication style with the confidence to represent the business in senior client meetings The ambition to improve your performance through coaching, accountability, and high-quality recruitment rather than activity-based KPIs Why You’ll Love It Uncapped monthly commission with rates progressing from 10% to 40% Commission paid monthly based on candidate acceptance and invoicing milestones A high-performing New York team with recent monthly billings exceeding $200k across three billers The opportunity to change your billings from $200k to $700k (leader has helped consultants increase their success to this) Access to retained work and senior mandates through established venture capital relationships Hands‑on coaching from leaders with a record of helping consultants significantly increase annual billings MacBook and company phone Hybrid working with a minimum of three days per week in the New York office Relocation support may be available for international candidates from the UK, including visa sponsorship, flights Apply now to take your career to the next level with a pioneering company.
