Healthcare Regulatory Associate (DC or NY)

Summary The Healthcare Regulatory Group is seeking a mid‑level Healthcare Associate with 3‑5 years of experience and a strong background in health regulatory law applicable to the healthcare and life sciences industries including fraud and abuse, HIPAA, corporate practice of medicine, licensing, reimbursement, and assisting with the regulatory diligence and structuring of corporate transactions. As part of the team, the successful candidate will be exposed to counseling telehealth and digital health companies. Responsibilities and duties Provide regulatory and compliance counseling to companies and investors across the healthcare and life sciences industries. Assist with regulatory diligence and structuring of corporate transactions. Engage in transactions, investigations, and the development of compliance programs. Qualifications Education: JD from an accredited law school. Bar Admission: Licensed to practice in DC or NY. Experience: 3‑5 years of relevant experience in a law firm; direct and applicable AmLaw100 law firm experience preferred. Desired Skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Attention to detail and superior organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with conceptual thinking and persuasive communication. Management skills and good business and professional judgment.
