Healthcare Regulatory Associate (DC or NY)

Summary The Healthcare Regulatory Group is seeking a mid-level Healthcare Associate with 3–5 years of experience. The role requires a strong background in health regulatory law applicable to the healthcare and life sciences industries, including fraud and abuse, HIPAA, corporate practice of medicine, licensing, reimbursement, and regulatory diligence and structuring of corporate transactions. Candidates will counsel telehealth and digital health companies and will work across regulatory and compliance counseling, transactions, investigations, and compliance program development. Experience in healthcare transactions (private equity, M&A, investment) and a law firm environment (preferably AmLaw 100) is required. Government experience at CMS, OCR, or DOJ is a plus. Applicants must demonstrate excellent academic credentials and superior analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Preferred Location Washington, D.C. or New York (preferred Washington, D.C.). Work may require occasional walking and standing. Work Environment Hybrid – regular in‑office presence with some flexibility for work‑from‑home Pay Transparency The firm’s expected hiring range for this position is $260,000 – $390,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, education, and qualifications.
