Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 18 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Favorite Healthcare Program - University of Kansas.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - 2+ years recent ortho/spine and Tele experience (within last 18 months). - Background in general surgery, gynecology, urology, orthopedics and spine; familiarity with cellulitis, back pain, and kidney stones; skilled with Heparin drips, TPN, PCA, and telemetry rhythm interpretation.

Unit Details: - Mixed patient acuity; some patients are post-surgical ortho/spine with Med-Surg/Tele overflow.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - No call. - Holidays based on unit needs.

Floating Requirements: - Will float to all acute care units.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
