Retail Security Guard (Full-Time) LOCATION: The Village at Corte Madera- Corte Madera, CA PAY: $21.63/hour POSITION TYPE:
Part-Time SCHEDULE: Position 1: 2:00PM-10:PM | Wednesday through Saturday Position 2: 6:00AM-2:30PM | Wednesday through Sunday OVERVIEW: We are hiring a Retail Security Guard to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers, employees, and vendors. This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset. BENEFITS:

- Patrol assigned areas or maintain a fixed post to monitor activity
- Control access points and manage pedestrian/vehicle traffic
- Identify and report suspicious activity, incidents, or safety concerns
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and on-site incidents
- Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems
- Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation
- Maintain awareness of surroundings at all times
- Follow all post orders, company policies, and safety procedures
- Maintain knowledge of emergency response protocols
- Inspect property for safety risks (fire hazards, equipment issues, etc.)
- Support loss prevention and recommend safety improvements
- Greet and assist customers, employees, and visitors in a professional manner
- Provide directions and support as needed
- Maintain a visible, approachable presence on-site
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to stay alert and respond calmly in emergency situations
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
- Ability to write clear and accurate reports
- Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
- State Guard license is required
- Prior security or customer-facing experience
- Familiarity with CCTV, alarms, or access control systems
- High level of attentiveness and situational awareness
- Dependable and team-oriented
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency
- Arrive on time in full uniform and ready to work
- Stay engaged and proactive throughout your shift
- Follow all safety, training, and compliance requirements
- Ability to lift 20+ pounds.
