Overview Primary Care/Geriatric Physician – Job Description Position: Primary Care/Geriatric Physician Job Type: Full-Time Location: Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Physician to provide comprehensive primary care services for patients of all ages, from infants to older adults. The ideal candidate will deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care in both outpatient clinic and hospital settings while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes and patient satisfaction. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive family medicine services, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management. Manage an assigned patient panel and establish long-term provider-patient relationships. Diagnose, evaluate, and treat patients across all age groups using evidence-based practices. Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans. Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, risk management activities, and clinical policy development. Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant medical records and documentation. Participate in medical record reviews, accreditation activities, and regulatory compliance efforts. Support community outreach and patient education initiatives promoting health and wellness. Contribute to departmental planning, staff collaboration, and process improvement efforts. Fulfil on-call responsibilities as assigned and provide compassionate, patient-centered care. Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited Family Medicine residency program. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine. Active and unrestricted Washington State medical license (or eligibility to obtain one). DEA registration and current ACLS certification preferred. Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and communication skills. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and healthcare technology. Preferred Skills Ability to manage patients across the lifespan in both clinic and hospital settings. Excellent collaboration and teamwork with multidisciplinary providers. Strong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving abilities. Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and evidence-based care.
