The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, with a focus on building and deploying Gen AI applications. This role will involve collaborating with a high-performing team to deliver scalable, production-ready AI solutions that drive measurable revenue impact. The candidate must be able to work onsite three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday) and virtually on Mondays and Fridays.Responsibilities:Design, test, and deploy machine learning and Gen AI applications.Take ownership of data preparation and data pipeline development.Collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, and product partners.Accelerate the delivery of scalable, production-ready AI solutions.Optimize, debug, and integrate code for machine learning models.Support the Service Recovery Modernization initiative.Participate in a collaborative and innovative team environment.Qualifications:Master's or PhD degree with 5+ years of experience in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics).Proficiency in Python, including production-grade coding, modularization, testing, and performance tuning.Hands-on experience with building Gen AI applications (e.g., prompt engineering, classifiers, knowledge bases, RAG solutions, LLMs).Experience with ML/AI pipeline development, productionization, model deployment, orchestration, monitoring, and optimization.Depth of knowledge in statistical and machine learning techniques.Proficiency in SQL and working with data.Experience with Azure ML and Databricks.Familiarity with ML lifecycle tools (e.g., MLflow, CI/CD, model monitoring).Practical experience designing, building, and deploying machine learning models.Domain knowledge in the airline industry is a plus.Experience working in a consulting role is preferred.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.About PTR Global: PTR Global is a leading provider of information technology and workforce solutions.
