Structural Engineer

Job Description
A company with a reputation that goes back over 50 years is looking to add a Structural Engineer to their Chicago office!

Responsibilities:

• Projectoversight (setting priorities/developing objectives, project financialmanagement as well as hands-on involvement in the design process)
• Theability to serve as a technical resource for less experienced engineers/designers
• Design/analyzestructural systems for a variety of buildings and structural projects
• Coordinatebetween multiple disciplines and attend project coordination meetings
• Developstructural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
• Contributeto QA/QC processes
• Mentor/trainjunior staff

Requirements:

• Master's degree in civil engineering with a structural focus
• 6+years of professional experience in structural design of buildings
• Experiencein leading the technical design of structural projects
• Projectmanagement experience preferred
• SEprofessional registration
• Workingknowledge of Revit

Salary is commensurate with experience.
