Travel Physical Therapist - $2,132 per week

Job Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Jackson, New Jersey. Location: Jackson, NJ Employment Type: Travel Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in an acute‑care setting. Oversee and supervise PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the facility following guidelines that comply with state and facility requirements. Understand and comply with the respective PT board's rules and regulations. Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment, evaluate, and create a plan of care. Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition. Use medical center computer systems for daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of clinical experience (1 year required for most candidates; 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates). BLS certification. State‑specific licensing (pass required state exam). Good knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods of time. New graduates encouraged to apply. Additional certifications (e.g., clinical specialties) may be required before beginning assignment.
