Environmental Service Tech

Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Environmental Service Technician, you will help maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. You will perform daily cleaning, disinfection, and infection prevention tasks, ensuring timely room turnovers and adhering to standards of quality and safety. Key responsibilities include: Complete daily occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas, equipment, and common areas. Execute duties with a working knowledge of healthcare cleaning and disinfecting principles, demonstrating safe chemical use and equipment handling. Maintain cleaning carts, supplies, and equipment per Standard Work cart setup; manage waste and dispose of it in the correct stream (regulated medical, recycle, solid, hazardous). Follow all infection prevention practices, including proper cleaning protocols, hand hygiene, standard and isolation precautions, and proper use of PPE. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Previous healthcare experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
