Business Solutions Sales Lead

Rather than selling one‑size‑fits‑all hardware, we partner with our customers to understand their workflows, solve complex computing challenges, and deliver solutions tailored to the way they work. As we continue expanding our Business Solutions division, we’re looking for our first Business Solutions Sales Lead. Someone who wants the opportunity to build more than a book of business. This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys developing people, building processes, influencing strategy, and helping shape the future of a growing division. You’ll lead by example, continue building your own customer portfolio, mentor a team of Business Solutions Consultants, and work directly with company leadership to establish the foundation for long‑term growth. What You’ll Be Doing As the Business Solutions Sales Lead, you’ll combine individual sales success with leadership and strategic development. Your responsibilities will include: Business Development Develop and maintain your own portfolio of B2B customers. Prospect and develop new business opportunities through strategic outreach, networking, referrals, and relationship building. Lead discovery conversations to understand customer workflows, operational challenges, and technical requirements. Design and recommend custom computing solutions that improve productivity, reliability, and performance. Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline while consistently progressing qualified opportunities. Leadership Mentor and coach Business Solutions Consultants through regular one‑on‑one meetings and pipeline reviews. Assist with onboarding and training new team members. Help establish sales processes, best practices, and performance standards. Provide guidance on customer strategy, opportunity qualification, proposals, and negotiations. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and customer‑focused sales culture. Strategic Growth Identify new industries, verticals, and market opportunities for Ironside Business Solutions. Bring customer feedback and competitive intelligence back to leadership. Recommend improvements to our products, services, support offerings, warranty programs, and overall customer experience. Help shape the long‑term strategy and direction of the Business Solutions division. Who Will Thrive Here This role is ideal for someone who: Has a successful track record in consultative B2B sales. Enjoys coaching and developing others. Leads through example rather than authority. Thinks strategically while remaining hands‑on. Is naturally curious and enjoys understanding how businesses operate. Is comfortable building new relationships and opening new markets. Takes ownership and thrives with autonomy. Wants the opportunity to help build and influence a growing organization. 2‑5 years sales experience. Experience selling technology, workstations, enterprise hardware, or related business solutions is strongly preferred. Leadership experience is valuable, but we’re equally interested in individuals who have consistently demonstrated the ability to mentor others, improve processes, and drive results. Compensation & Benefits include: First-Year On‑Target Earnings (OTE): $120,000–$170,000+ Uncapped commission on your personal sales. Additional leadership commission based on the success of the Business Solutions Consultants you mentor and manage.
