Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and document observations and actions in accordance with site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel. Support retail operations by assisting with crowd control, directing foot traffic, and providing general information while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
