Route Service Representative (4-Day Workweek) Location: Port Washington, NY 11050 Requisition Number: 222685 Job Description Cintas is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage and grow customer accounts in the Rental Division. Our partners drive a truck along an established route and service and sell within an existing customer base. It is a physical, fast-paced, indoor/outdoor position in which our partners deliver and pick up uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning products and other facility service products. Comprehensive 10‑week training program Solid base salary and commission potential after being assigned a route Majority of work on a 4‑Day workweek Majority of work not nights or weekends Monthly/Quarterly performance bonuses and incentives Key Responsibilities You are the face of Cintas to customers and must work to build rapport with key decision makers. Ensure quality standards, and proactively solve customer concerns. Grow the existing customer base by upselling and cross‑selling additional products and services. Negotiate service agreement renewals, control inventory while working professionally and safely. Comply with driving and vehicle regulations. Skills and Qualifications Must meet DOT requirements for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs. Have an active driver’s license. Be at least 21 years of age. Obtain a DOT medical certification. Provide documentation regarding previous employment. Meet the physical requirements of the position. High School diploma, GED, or Military Service. Strong customer service orientation. Self‑motivation and teamwork ability. Positive attitude, ambition, organization, and service spirit. Compensation A reasonable estimate of total compensation for this role ranges between $45,000 - $90,000 per year and is a combination of base salary plus earned commissions. The range takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, performance, and other business and organization needs. This disclosed range has not been adjusted for applicable geographic differentials associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Please note, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each decision.
