Accounting Manager
Big Spring, TX
$28-$30/hr
Full-Time
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and support the financial success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Process full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Execute and verify accurate payroll.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Manage the general ledger and prepare journal entries.
- Perform timely and accurate month-end and year-end closes.
- Generate financial statements, budgets, and cash-flow reports.
- Maintain compliance with tax laws and regulatory reporting.
- Administer corporate insurance, licenses, and tax filings.
Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of accounting experience required
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting practices
- Experience with Sage 50 Software
- High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred
- Ability to sit, bend, and stoop as needed throughout the workday
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
