Complex Litigation Strategic Counseling Associate Be part of a team driving strategy in high impact litigation with Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP’s highly ranked Complex Litigation & Strategic Counseling Practice (CLSC). We’re seeking an exceptional associate in our Los Angeles, Orange County or San Francisco office with 3–6 years of experience in multidistrict (MDL) and complex coordinated litigation. A winning candidate aligns with our group that is made up of professionals who thrive on legal challenges on the national stage. Our practitioners directly interface with clients to shape strategic outcomes from discovery motion practice to resolution. Ideal candidates bring a strong foundation in technology, antitrust, products liability, or data security, along with superior research and writing skills. Experience with government enforcement matters or a judicial clerkship is a plus. Candidates must hold an active license in the state of California. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of some of the nation’s most significant and high profile matters. Your day to day work will span case management, motion practice, discovery, mediation, and the emerging frontier of artificial intelligence in litigation. You’ll help guide strategy for clients across leading sectors – including life sciences, technology, retail, and financial services. Please join us! In accordance with applicable law, the annualized salary range for this position is $200,000 - $325,000, depending on the candidate’s overall experience and other job‑related factors permitted by law. Discretionary bonuses may also be awarded annually.
