Strategic Planning Analyst

Strategic Planning Analyst Location: Greater Wilmington, DE Area (Hybrid Work Environment) A well-established professional services organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its growing finance team. This role offers the opportunity to partner with business leaders by providing financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic insights that support operational and long-term business objectives. Responsibilities: Analyze financial statements, operating results, and key performance metrics to identify trends and business opportunities Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives Prepare financial reports and analyses for leadership to support business decision-making Partner with accounting and operational teams to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data Support annual budgeting and long-range financial planning processes Analyze cost allocations and profitability across multiple business segments Utilize advanced Excel functions to automate reporting and improve data analysis Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field Proven experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, and budgeting Strong understanding of accounting principles and corporate finance concepts Experience with cost and expense allocation methodologies Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and automation tools Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools is a plus MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certifications are preferred but not required Competitive compensation package Retirement savings plan with company contribution Generous paid time off and company holidays Hybrid work schedule available after onboarding and training Parking assistance provided Collaborative team environment with strong opportunities for professional growth and advancement High-visibility role supporting strategic business decisions The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
