Entry-Level Simulation Software EngineerThe Boeing Company is looking for an Entry-Level Simulation Software Engineer to join the Support Equipment team located in Berkley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) Software Engineering organization.This critical opportunity involves supporting software development for Non-Destructive Inspection equipment, playing a key part in advancing aerospace system safety, reliability, and performance throughout the product lifecycle. Responsibilities include development, integration, and testing of robotics motion modeling, user interface software, and data evaluation tools essential to next-generation inspection systems.The engineer will be embedded within a collaborative and innovative team environment, operating under a dynamic program structure that encourages cross-functional partnerships among engineering disciplines and integrated product teams. Emphasis is placed on modernization of legacy systems alongside implementation of emerging tools and methodologies to support ongoing software simulation sustainability.This role offers a rewarding chance to contribute to mission-critical government aerospace services, supporting the operational readiness and effectiveness of defense and commercial platforms through innovative software solutions and engineering excellence.Position Responsibilities:Assists with the design, architecture, and development of simulation models, simulation visualizations, virtual environments/platforms and frameworks to enhance test performance, safety, and durability of software and hardware systems throughout the entire product lifecycleContributes to partnering with stakeholders to review and identify simulation requirements and dynamics of the systems being simulatedAssists with designing, modeling, simulation, testing, and analysis to assess and optimize overall system performance and capabilitiesParticipates in data collection and processing for use in simulationsAssists with validation, verification, and refinement of simulation software code, models, simulations, test procedures and test environments, executing test procedures, documenting test results and modeling against real-world data, test data, benchmarks, or other similar modelsAssists with documenting and maintaining technical code, algorithms, specifications and descriptions of simulation modelsContributes to partnership with cross functional engineering teams to enable integration of simulation software with hardware devices and systemsAssists with implementing current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and methods in the software engineering simulation environmentAssists with modernizing, migrating, sustaining, and updating simulation software to adapt legacy systems to new operating systemsAssists with simulation software project management functionsThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
