The Veterinary General Manager will lead and oversee a small animal practice with a medium-sized team of 6 to 15 staff members. Reporting directly to the Practice Owner, this role emphasizes operational stability while managing all aspects of the facility, including financial oversight, staff leadership, and client relations. The ideal candidate will ensure regulatory compliance and drive operational efficiency without travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead veterinary staff and teams
- Oversee financial operations and budgeting
- Maintain strong client relationships and service quality
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Control inventory and manage supplies
- Manage facility maintenance and operations
- Develop and implement strategic plans
- Promote operational efficiency across the practice
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in veterinary practice management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in veterinary practice management with financial oversight
- Proven skills in staff leadership and client relations
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and inventory management
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Effective team building and time management skills
