Registered Dietitians

Registered Dietitian - Part-time and Full-time Availability.

Compensation: Hourly Rate : $33 to $37.50 per hour Location:

Positions available in Manhattan and the Bronx, NY Position Summary: Maintains all clinical nutritional services for registrants. Acts as a liaison between the registrants and Food Service vendor, representing the registrants' food preferences while maximizing compliance with their therapeutic plan of care. Responsibilities Schedule/Shift: Full time, 8am to 4pm and Part time, 9:30 to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday Key Duties: Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and reassessments every 6 months or as needed, providing ongoing diet counseling and continuity of care.

Develop, calculate, and modify therapeutic and specialized diet plans in collaboration with physician orders, ensuring compliance with nutritional standards.

Participate in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings and support performance improvement initiatives, audits, and nutrition-related education programs.

Assist with the development and revision of cycle menus for general and therapeutic diets while respecting the cultural and religious preferences of participants.

Requirements License and Certifications:

Registered Dietitian

Skills

Clinical experience in Adult Day Care is preferred.

Demonstrates the ability to assess the nutritional status of registrants.

Completes documentation which meets best practice and regulatory guidelines.

Develops measure goals within individualized care plan

Participates in interdisciplinary care conferences.

Demonstrates effective communication skills.

Ability to communicate and respond appropriately to the needs of the geriatric population
