Job Description

Equinox is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to deliver evidence-based, personalized nutrition coaching that enhances member results, supports performance goals, and integrates seamlessly with our fitness, regenerative, and lifestyle services. This role serves as a subject-matter expert in nutrition, providing one-on-one consultations, collaborative programming with fitness professionals, and education that aligns with Equinox’s high-performance philosophy.

The Registered Dietitian plays a critical role in elevating the member experience through science-backed guidance, premium service delivery, and consistent brand standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Champion as the nutrition subject-matter expert for the ARC program, leading and supporting evidence-based nutrition strategy, member consultations, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent, high-impact delivery aligned with Equinox’s Movement, Nutrition, and Regeneration model.
• Deliver individualized nutrition assessments, goal setting, and ongoing coaching sessions for members across performance, body composition, longevity, and lifestyle optimization goals.
• Review health assessments and provide personalized nutritional programming to support overall health and lifestyle goals as aligned on by program coaches
• Create nutrition educational materials to provide increased value for the member
• Maintain detailed documentation, progress tracking, scheduling, session management, and service documentation aligned with Equinox standards.

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert with EFTI for nutrition knowledge within the Core Curriculums.
• Collaborate closely with PT Leadership, Coaches, and other specialized departments to deliver a cohesive, multidisciplinary member experience.

• Stay current on emerging research, trends, and best practices in performance nutrition, metabolic health, and longevity.

• Ensure all nutrition services comply with state licensure laws, scope-of-practice regulations, and professional ethics standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential with active state licensure.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience providing one-on-one nutrition coaching, preferably in performance, fitness, wellness, or hospitality settings.
• Strong foundation in performance nutrition, body composition, metabolic health, and behavior change.
• Exceptional demonstration of communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide bespoke services based on individual health data
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a high-performance team environment.
• Proficiency with digital tools, documentation systems, and basic Microsoft/Google applications.

Pay Transparency: Min $90k - Max $100k
