About the Foundation The Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to advance the $1.3 trillion equipment finance sector by cultivating the next-generation workforce through Campus to Career programs, including curriculum development and collegiate scholarships. Position: Manager, Donor Development and Engagement Position Summary: The Donor Development and Engagement Manager creates and produces fundraising materials to showcase the Foundation's value, visibility, and impact to both internal and external audiences. This role leads donor outreach for the annual fundraising campaign, Day of Giving, and legacy donor program, and ensures operational integrity of donations through accurate data entry. Supervisor: Executive Director of the Foundation. Primary Responsibilities: Fundraising Leadership Create timelines, manage list development, and draft materials for fundraising and targeted campaigns, including collaborating with marketing staff at our affiliated trade association ELFA, and other vendors such as graphic designers and printers as needed. Create and edit fundraising solicitations for tone, voice, brand, and accuracy. Cultivate lists from Salesforce database for targeted solicitations. Compile and interpret donor data for presentations to Board and committees. Operations and Governance Ensure effective and efficient financial operations for all donations, including invoices, data entry, and creating reports to track progress towards goals. Maintain clean records for committees, donors, and other stakeholders. Maintain donor recognition and assist with overall upkeep of the website. Create or collaborate with staff for promotional materials and exhibits for events. Calendar management for committee meetings and donor calls. Assist with production of briefing materials for board & committee meetings. Support Executive Director with action items and inbound inquiries. Partner with Director of Programs and ELFA marketing team to communicate the impact of workforce development initiatives with current and prospective donors including newsletters, magazine articles, social media opportunities Work on special projects and other duties as needed. Knowledge and Skills Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2–4 years of professional experience in fundraising, marketing, or project management. Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and customer service focus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, social media publishing platforms, email marketing software, and analytics tools; Salesforce knowledge and Canva a plus. Experience with content management software; WordPress highly desirable. Work Environment, Compensation and Benefits Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience and skill set, with an anticipated base salary range of $75,000-$85,000. Hybrid work environment: in-office 2 days per week (Tuesdays and one additional day of choice).
