About the Position

Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Description: The position is for an ER Registered Nurse. The shift operates from 7 PM to 7 AM. The guaranteed hours are 36 hours per week. Every third weekend commitment is required. Nights will be scheduled on Friday and Saturday, with days on Saturday and Sunday. Self-scheduling is available, but no shifts are guaranteed until the final schedule is set. The unit has a total of 27 beds. Nurses will encounter patients of all ages. Support staff such as aides, EMTs, and paramedics are available on each shift. Phlebotomy services are also available for drawing labs. The charting system used is Epic. Candidates must adhere to a strict fingernail policy: artificial nails are prohibited. Refusal to comply will result in termination of the contract. All candidates must meet the radius rule of 50 miles. Additional requests for time off may not be approved after submission of the initial request. The hospital retains the right to cancel up to four shifts during the 13-week assignment.
