Evening Custodian

Custodian PositionPower Design has an opportunity for a Custodian to join our organization for the overnight shift. Hours will be 6 pm to 2 am.Position Details/ResponsibilitiesClean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming.Gather and empty trash.Service, clean, and supply restrooms.Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.Dust furniture, walls, and all vertical and horizontal surfaces.Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.Request supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.Perform general laborer work and miscellaneous tasks as needed and assigned by Facilities Manager or Property Manager.Here's What We're Looking ForHigh School diploma or equivalent.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Good client/customer service skills.Ability to read, write and understand instructions.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.Ability to work effectively with a team.Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort.Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn.2-3 years commercial verifiable cleaning experience needed.Ability to stand or be on feet for good portion of shift.Ability to lift 50+ lbs on occasion.Ability to accommodate an overnight work schedule.Compensation: $18/hrAt Power Design, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, national origin, age, physical and mental disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, military and veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
